CIVIL STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

Olive First Consulting is an engineering and consulting organization based in the most vibrant city in the region, Dubai, in United Arab Emirates which also known as a land of opportunities in the region.

Requirement:
An ideal candidate should be Civil & Structural Diploma holder from a reputed Institute/University. He/she must have good communication skills in English language, be able to work independently with minimum supervision. A trouble shooter and be able to work in teams to achieve common objective to resolve any issues to progress on project & meet timelines. Expert in SP3D, AutoCAD and 2D design. Knowledge necessary design software. Has minimum 8 to 10 years of engineering design experience in oil and gas onshore projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare Civil and Structural layouts and conceptual design problems in 2D and 3D for Onshore projects.
Reviews drawings, and vendor equipment layout, both within the discipline as well as from other disciplines, for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution.
Interface with other design disciplines to get the inputs.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SP3D and Smart Sketch as required.
Should be able to work independently and handle an area.
Check complex brownfield underground drawings and prepare the clash analysis with resolution.
Applies project drawing standards to design drawings.
Ensure to complete Structural modelling and extraction of drawings in smart sketch, as necessary.
Develop preliminary Bills of Materials concerning Civil/structural design.
Tekla knowledge is added advantage.

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL DESIGNER

The candidate must have the following experience and skill sets:
3D skills :
Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) Modelling of equipment/JB/Panels/Field racks, Cable duct, tray, trenches, supports, Offline instruments, panels etc ., Extraction of layouts, clash analysis with resolution.

2D skills :
MicroStation, SP3D extraction (Smart sketch), Autocad, 2D drawing extraction, annotation from PDS for Field Instrument Layouts.

Documents experience:

Layout of Field Instrument & Junction Boxes.
Layout of Instrument Main Cable.
Layout of Instrument Main Cable Tray / Duct.
Layout of Instrument Gas Detector.
Layout of Instrument Air Piping.
Layout of Instrument Earthing.
Instrument Conduit Plan.
Typical Drawing for Fabrication and Installation.
Instrument wiring & Tubing Connection List and Drawing.
Cable Drum Schedule.
Single Loop Logic Diagram.
Pressure Piping Hookup.
DCS/PLC System Configuration Diagram.
Instrument Index Updating In Intools.
MTO for all bulks and cables.

Other skills:
